So there’s a situation!

That’s always the key word. That is when you have to accept the inevitable.

YOU ARE GOING TO HAVE TO SIT AT HOME.

I couldn’t speak to Registrar regarding important information about my forthcoming graduating in Spring this morning. Nor could I see if I my petition had finally gone through. What’s more is that I was practically shooed out of LAU by the employees.

It sounded like I was in a haunted hause with every one running around screaming:

“THE WADA33333!!! OH MY GAAAAD THERES A WADEEEEE3333!!”

“GET OUUUUUUUUTTTTT!”

So I sit at home… Why?

Honestly, I don’t know what the “wade3” is.  That means situation, in case you were wondering.

You see, since the war in 2006, I decided to remain politically ignorant, because honestly I couldnt keep up. The minute I got up to speed and was able to understand what was going on, someone from some team decides to do something that pissed someone off which set everybody into the streets and it just gets too confusing (NO POLITICAL REFERENCE WHATSOEVER).

Now, a journalism student, I sit … ignorant, dare I say.. blissfully?

As a student, isn’t it my responsibility to do whatever I can in order to make my chances for getting a good job in the future?

It is not my responsibility to shoot people, throw bombs at them, burn tires or block roads!

(NO POLITICAL REFERENCE INTENDED WHATSOEVER)

I should be educating, not obstructing! More education —> better jobs —> more income for the family and country!

That is why it’s okay that I don’t follow politics. Because I follow news about things that matter. Not what he said/she said!

I hate that stupid game!

I write, and report, my school paper writes and reports, Hibr newspaper writes and reports without mentioning politics!

My question to you is, what do you think?

Are you Blissfully Ignorant or Politics Savvy? More importantly, what do you think the majority should be?

Please Comment, Share and Pass it on 🙂
