Three students, Lama el Haqhaq from Kuwait, Badr Qaddah from Dubai, and Saad Kanaan who lived in Saudi Arabia battle out the debate about Saudi’s law. Saad and Badr claim that Saudi is too set in its ways to be able to change now, and Lama expresses her opinions on why she would never live in Saudi Arabia because certain laws like the one that women need the permission of a male guardian if they want elective surgery and if they want to leave the country they also require a signature, Lama argues that in Kuwait at least women are in parliament. What do you think? Is Saudi Arabia too set in it’s ways or does it have the ability to change? Is Saudi ready for change ?
